The MLBx Program is now giving MLB The Show 26 players another reason to spend time in Diamond Dynasty. Instead of being just another card drop, this program combines baseball history with a short progression path built around four 99 OVR legends: Adrián González, Ryan Howard, Shane Victorino, and Julio Franco. If you are trying to improve your squad while saving MLB Stubs, the free rewards are worth working toward before spending on the marketplace.

MLBx Program Reward Path

The program uses Program Points as its main progression system. You earn points by completing Moments, stat missions, Parallel XP objectives, and other featured tasks.

The major checkpoints are:

• 10 Points: 99 OVR Adrián González + 1,000 XP
• 20 Points: Ballin' Is a Habit Pack + 1,000 XP
• 30 Points: 99 OVR Ryan Howard + 1,000 XP
• 40 Points: 99 OVR Shane Victorino + 1,000 XP
• 50 Points: Deluxe Pack + 1,000 XP
• 60 Points: 99 OVR Julio Franco + 1,000 XP

The nice thing about this setup is that you do not have to grind a single game mode from beginning to end. Players can work on objectives through the modes they already play.

Which MLBx Cards Should You Chase First?

Adrián González is the first major reward, so he is also the easiest legend to add to your team. His left-handed bat gives you another option at first base and can be useful against right-handed pitching.

Ryan Howard arrives at 30 Points and brings a very different kind of threat. His card is built for players who enjoy powerful swings and want a left-handed slugger capable of turning mistakes into home runs.

Victorino is the 40-Point reward and offers more variety than the two first-base options. His outfield ability, athleticism, and speed make him an interesting choice for players who prefer aggressive baserunning and defensive range.

Finally, Julio Franco waits at 60 Points. Reaching this stage is worthwhile if you want another high-rated infield option and enjoy using classic MLB stars.

How To Earn Program Points Faster

Do not jump into a long game before checking the entire objective list. A few minutes of preparation can save a lot of unnecessary innings.

A practical order is:

1. Finish Moments first. They are usually the quickest way to secure early points.
2. Check stat missions. Build your lineup around the required player types.
3. Work on Parallel XP. Use eligible cards during games rather than grinding PXP separately.
4. Choose the right mode. Conquest and Play vs. CPU are useful for controlled offline objectives.
5. Stack objectives. Whenever possible, complete multiple requirements in the same game.

If you are considering whether to buy MLB Stubs, it makes sense to finish the MLBx reward path first. You may get a card that fills the position you were planning to upgrade.

Best Modes For The Grind

Conquest is a solid choice when you want to combine player statistics with other Diamond Dynasty progression. You can control the pace and restart games when necessary.

Play vs. CPU works well for straightforward hitting, pitching, or PXP requirements. It is also less stressful when the objective requires a specific type of performance.

Mini Seasons can be useful when you want a longer offline session with additional rewards. Meanwhile, Ranked, Events, and other online modes make more sense if you are already playing them regularly. There is little reason to abandon your preferred mode when normal games can also contribute toward program objectives.

Do You Need To Spend Stubs?

Not necessarily. The MLBx Program already gives you four 99 OVR players, along with packs and XP. That is enough to potentially make noticeable changes to a developing Diamond Dynasty roster.

Before looking for cheap MLB Stubs, check your lineup after reaching each major player reward. You might discover that González solves your first-base problem, Victorino improves your outfield, or Howard gives your bench the left-handed power it was missing.

Final MLBx Program Tips

The easiest way to finish the MLBx Program is to play with a plan instead of simply chasing points. Check objectives before every game, use eligible players whenever possible, and combine Moments with PXP and stat missions.

Once you reach 60 Points, you will have collected all four featured legends and the additional rewards along the path. If your roster still has a few weak spots afterward, you can decide whether buy MLB Stubs are worth using for targeted upgrades rather than spending currency on random cards.
